Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes
1971 - 1994

In order to satisfy a reader request from September 2005, here is a posting of a few attraction photographs pending the development of a complete page.

If such a page ever comes around, it will ponder at length how Mr. Crockett came into possession of multiple vessels identical to those that at Disneyland, where (prior to 1971) they were called Indian War Canoes.  Perhaps upon the cessation of hostilities, as the song goes, "his Injun friends could keep their land" but were persuaded to relieve themselves of birch-bark watercraft through diplomatic channels attended by grins and Old Betsy.
